Why Christian Leaders Fall, and What It Takes to Finish Well
A conversation with Jason Watson (Lausanne Movement) and Malcolm Webber.
Welcome back to Healthy Leaders! In this issue, we interrupt our normal programming to bring you a fresh podcast from our friends at Lausanne.
Hello friends,
We’ve been deep into what it takes to identify and commission high-potential leaders in recent issues of Healthy Leaders. Our last issue dealt specifically with the leaders who were appointed by men or by themselves, rather than called by God and confirmed in an accountable community. You can check it out here:
Too often, however, even leaders who have been called and commissioned into key leadership positions ultimately end up failing in their leadership instead of finishing well.
Why is this?
This is what Jason Watson (one of our friends at Lausanne) and Malcolm Webber get into in their latest podcast episode. The answer isn’t in better information, longer experience, or greater gifting — as you might be able to guess if you have been with us for very long. Rather, it’s about turning back to how Christ built leaders.
Check it out here:
Thanks to the Lausanne Movement for making this conversation possible.
Until next time, we’re with you!
— Chris
